An Essential Process in Protein
The process of ribosome recycling, which occurs at the end of protein synthesis, involves the ribosome complex breaking down to release new proteins and start a new cycle of protein synthesis. In the absence of this crucial stage, organisms accumulate post-termination complexes, which causes protein synthesis to slow down or stop altogether. Ribosome recycling factors (RRF) and elongation factor G (EF-G) do this procedure expertly. This mechanism is comparatively well-known in bacteria.
