In Vitro Diagnostics
In order to cure, alleviate, treat, or prevent disease or its aftereffects, tests known as in vitro diagnostics (IVD) are performed to identify and diagnose illnesses, infections, or other medical disorders. They are meant to be used in the gathering, processing, and analysis of specimens removed from human bodies.
In vitro diagnostics are widely utilized for a variety of purposes, such as illness screening, infection detection, treatment monitoring, determining the safety of blood for transfusions, identifying allergies, and measuring hormones and other biological markers in body specimens.
